Black Bear Cabins are just a five minute ride on your ATV to the Wolfpen Gap, North trailhead and minutes away from the Mena Talimena Scenic Drive, Queen Wilhelmina State Park and Shady Lake. Just a Short Drive to Mena, Arkansas

Mena, AR. is located in west central Arkansas and is less than 20 miles east of the Arkansas Oklahoma state line.  The city offers shopping, quality restaurants, antique stores, golf courses and hosts a variety of events throughout the year, from the Lum and Abner Festival to the annual Rod Run.  CLICK HERE for a list of current and upcoming events.

Directions:   Go North through Downtown Mena until you get to Highway 8 East.  Turn right on Highway 8 East just past Walmart.  Drive about 9 miles and turn right on Polk 61.  There will be a Wolfpen Gap Campground sign and a Quachita Baptist Assembly Sign.  Turn right on Polk 61 and go 1.5 miles. Make a left turn right after the Coyote Campground RV Park.  Cross the bridge and stay to your left which will be Gentle Lane.  Stay on your left and follow road until you get to the second drive on your left.  It will have a green gate.   Black Bear Cabins Mena on Facebook

Wolf Pen Gap OHV Trail System

Open seasonally from the 2nd Friday of March, through October 31st.  There will be two holiday periods that will open the trail system to OHV use:  3 days prior to Thanksgiving through 2 days after Thanksgiving and from December 25 - January 2.

The Ouachita ATV Club has maps available for purchase which show over 200 miles of routes that are open year round to OHV riders.  These are always open even when Wolf Pen Gap is closed during the off season for maintenance.  100% of the proceeds go back into the Wolf Pen Gap trail maintenance fund.
